New House Bill Would Expand HSAs to Help Workers Pay for Direct Primary Care

CAHC’s support for Rep. Lloyd Smucker’s version of the Primary Care Enhancement Act for the 119th Congress was included in a Benefits Pro article. The frequently introduced bill would help workers use their health savings accounts to pay for direct primary care.

The bill also has the backing of two groups that have been popular with Republicans, Americans for Prosperity and the Council for Affordable Health Coverage, and a group that has been popular with centrists Democrats, Purchasers Business Group on Health.
