CAHC’s Joel White was quoted in a Grand Rapids Reporter article about the Trump administration’s efforts to crack down on alleged fraud in Affordable Care Act (ACA) enrollment, arguing that improper enrollments are driving up costs for consumers in Michigan and across the country.
“Patients in Michigan should not be stuck paying for a broken system,” Joel White, president of the Council for Affordable Health Coverage (CAHC), told Cedar Rapids Today. “Millions of people are getting insurance they don’t want and didn’t sign up for while fraudsters bilk taxpayers.”
“That abuse is making coverage more expensive for everyone,” White said.
