Today, CAHC, along with two dozen patient groups, sent a letter supporting the Medicaid VBPs for Patients (MVP) Act to both House and Senate leadership. The letter called for bipartisan support of the Act and for Congress to pass it into law.
The MVP Act would propel payment innovation by removing federal barriers to allow state Medicaid programs, private payers, and manufacturers to enter into value-based purchasing arrangements (VBPs) for prescription drugs.
