Her approach is grounded in a scientific and clinical background. Before entering government affairs, Sloane served as an adjunct biology professor at Daytona State College, worked as an emergency room technician, and led alligator research at the University of Florida.
She holds a Master’s in Biomedical Science & Policy from Georgetown University and a Bachelor’s in Zoology from the University of Florida.
Outside her professional work, Sloane serves as Chair of the Board of the Autoimmune Association and volunteers with the Make-A-Wish Foundation.
