CAHC submitted comments to HHS on the Transparency in Coverage (TiC) Proposed Rule. We support the overall direction of the proposed rule based on the standardization, comparability, and usability of price transparency data; however, are calling for the final rule to strengthen identifiers and validation, improve accountability, and ensure consumer-facing tools and incentive-compatible benefit designs translate transparency into lower out-of-pocket costs and slower premium growth.
