Today, CAHC joined with 48 other groups calling on Congress to end surprise medical billing. In the letter, the groups urged Congress to include comprehensive protections against surprise medical bills in the next COVID-19 relief package. Specifically, the groups urge lawmakers to end surprise medical billing for all patients through the implementation of fair, market-based payments for out-of-network charges.
