As Manager of Government Affairs, Michael Pierce focuses on building relationships that allows the Council for Affordable Health Coverage to drive better, more affordable healthcare outcomes for consumers.
He has worked in Democratic campaigns at almost every level of government since 2014 including 2016 in North Carolina with Deborah Ross, 2018 in Illinois with J.B. Pritzker, and as a Democratic strategic communications consultant. He has also worked with then Rep. Ben-Ray Lujan’s office on healthcare and trade issues. He also interned for The Cohen Group and focused on international healthcare, trade, and security issues.
Michael has a M.A. in global policy from the University of Maine and a B.A. in political science from Clark University in Massachusetts.
